Exposition Hall: new update

Here's a fresh and new update on the Magic Kingdom!
Since in our new survey some complained about the slow loading of all these pictures, we decided to post max. 50 pictures per post

Some pictures of the works on the Exposition Hall:

It looks really nice:

This small garden is great too:

Some photos of the interior:

Notice on the wall all the pictures of Mickey's Toontown Fair... They will work as a tribute once the area will be cleared:

And more pictures from around the park:

On the outside, works continue:

Also along Main Street, some buildings are still under tarps:

I have never noticed this!:

Newly refurbished:

The Exposition hall

The Exposition hall's lest side has been finally completed:

It looks very nice:

... but there's still work to do:

Here you are the promised Magic Kingdom update!:

Town Square Theater/Tony’s Town Square Restaurant

Fairy Godmother – Sparkly

Priority: Lowest
Location: Fairy Godmother is usually behind Cinderella Castle near the entrance to Cinderella’s Royal Table.  She can also be to the left of the Castle Couture store.
This is the Fairy Godmother to the left of Castle Couture. If you don’t see her to the left or right of the back of Cinderella Castle, look here.
Usual Meet Times:
  • 8:30am – 9am if the Park opens at 8am
  • 9:40am – 10:20am
  • 11:50am – 12:30pm
  • 12:45pm – 1:20pm
Process: Her line is off to the side of where she meets.  Wait your turn and hope that she grants you a wish with fewer strings than Cinderella’s.
Interaction: Excellent.  Few characters are sweeter.
Wait Times: Wait times are usually just five minutes.  She isn’t in the most obvious location and she disappears so often that long lines rarely form.
Best Times to Meet: I would meet her in conjunction with the Tremaines in the late morning.
Other Meet Locations: None.  At one time, Fairy Godmother met at Cinderella’s Royal Table and dinner at 1900 Park Fare.  As of this moment, she no longer meets at either location.  Cinderella’s Royal Table features more princesses at each meal and 1900 Park Fare includes Cinderella, Prince Charming, and the Tremaines.

Mary Poppins – White/Red Dress and Umbrella

Priority: Lowest
Location: Mary Poppins meets around Town Square.  Normally, she is right in front of Tony’s Town Square Restaurant and The Chapeau:

The first image above shows where you can expect to find Mary Poppins.  Her exact location depends on whether other characters are present.  In the second image, she’s standing in front of The Chapeau store on Main Street.
Usual Meet Times:
  • 8:20pm – 9am if Magic Kingdom opens at 8am
  • 9:20am – 10am
  • 10:15am – 11am
  • 11:15am – 12pm
  • 1:15pm – 1:50pm
  • 2:10pm – 2:45pm
Process: The line should be short, nearby, and informal.  Look for the few people in a little line nearby.
Interaction: Good.  It’s Mary Poppins and she’s usually “very” in character, which leads to the occasional snooty interaction.  I’m sure it will be fine though.
Wait Times: Afternoon wait times are usually short – in the 5 to 10 minute range.
Best Times to Meet: Most people won’t want to take the time to meet her in the early morning.  I would arrive about five minutes before she’s scheduled to appear for the 1:15pm or 2:10pm appearance.
Other Meet Locations:
  1. Epcot – Mary Poppins meets throughout the afternoon in the United Kingdom Pavilion.  Her lines are usually much longer there.
  2. Grand Floridian Resort – Mary Poppins meets diners at 1900 Park Fare breakfast.

Snow White – Standard Attire

Priority: Lowest
Location:
Snow White meets outside Town Square Theater/Tony’s Town Square Restaurant on the right side of Main Street.
Usual Meet Times:
  • 8:20am – 8:50am if Magic Kingdom opens at 8am
  • 9:20am – 9:45am
  • 10am – 10:35am
  • 10:55am – 11:30am
  • 12:50pm – 1:25pm
  • 1:50pm – 2:15pm
Process: Like the other less formal Meet and Greets, Snow White’s line simply runs off to the side of her.
Interaction: Good, so long as you don’t bring a poison apple.  She can be a little more snobby than the other princesses, for whatever reason.
Wait Times: Waits are generally in the ten minute range, though they can occasionally be longer if a large group or two gets in line.
Best Times to Meet: Sometime after 12pm would be best in most situations.  Arrive in the area around 12:45pm or 1:45pm to find shortest waits.  Most people will have higher morning priorities since afternoon waits are shorter than the other characters.
Other Meet Locations:
  1. Epcot – Snow White greets guests in the Germany Pavilion in the same outfit.  Wait times are generally longer there.
  2. Epcot – Snow White meets diners at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway Pavilion in the same outfit.
  3. Magic Kingdom – Snow white meets diners at Cinderella’s Royal Table in the same outfit.

Belle and Beast – Belle

Belle and Beast – Belle in Her Blue Scrubs and Beast in His Purple Cape and Blue Britches

Priority: High
Location:
Belle and Beast meet along the promenade across from the France Pavilion.
Usual Meet Times:
Belle:
  • 11:15am – 11:55am
  • 12:15pm – 1pm
  • 1:15pm – 1:55pm
  • 3:15pm – 3:55pm
  • 4:15pm – 4:55pm
  • 5:15pm – 5:55pm
  • 6:15pm – 6:45pm
Beast:
  • 1:35pm – 1:55pm
  • 2:35pm – 2:55pm
  • 3:35pm – 3:55pm
  • 4:45pm – 4:55pm
  • 5:55pm – 5:55pm
Belle often meets without Beast before 1:25pm. In the afternoon and early evening, he appears ten minutes after Belle arrives and stays for 30 minutes.
Process:
The line for Belle and/or Beast runs along World Showcase Lagoon out in front of where they greet guests. If the characters are going on break soon, the cast member should allow you to enter the line and wait there for the characters to return.
Interaction: Great if you can get them together. Beast is large and foreboding and Belle is a sweetheart. A great picture.
Wait Times: Afternoon waits can easily hit 30+ minutes and may actually be closer to 40 or 50 minutes if you have to wait for the characters to take one of their many 20 minute breaks.
Best Times to Meet: You’ll find the shortest wait first thing after World Showcase opens at 11am. If you arrive around 11:05am, you’re looking at a 10 to 15 minute wait. Note that guests are held at the bridge that connects the International Gateway and the France Pavilion until 11am most days.  You’ll want to wait there at 11am and book it over to the Belle line to catch her with the shortest wait. Unfortunately, you won’t have the opportunity to also meet Beast because he doesn’t appear until later in the afternoon. To meet both characters together, you’ll want to get in line around 1pm, just as Belle is leaving on break. This will put enough people in front of you that you won’t meet Belle when she’s by herself and you’ll get to meet both Belle and Beast together before they disappear again at 1:55pm. Unfortunately, you’re looking at a 30+ minute wait to accomplish this. There just isn’t any way around it. World Showcase will only get busier later in the afternoon and evening and the characters are out in an obvious location on the promenade, which attracts further crowds. If you’re happy meeting just Belle, plan to arrive by 11:10am. To meet both characters, arrive just as Belle is scheduled to take a break and prepare to wait. If you arrive when both characters are already out, you’re looking at an even longer line and you’ll most likely have to wait through an additional break.  You can always get lucky, especially if overall crowds are incredibly low, but don’t count on it.
Other Meet Locations:
This is the only location where Beast ordinarily meets guests. The easiest way to see Belle is to visit her in Town Square Theater at Magic Kingdom, where wait times are shorter and FASTPASS is available. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet Cinderella and Aurora at the same time.
Belle:
  1. Epcot – Belle greets guests dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway Pavilion in her yellow gown and takes pictures with them upon arrival, but does not meet tableside.
  2. Magic Kingdom – Belle meets in her yellow gown in Town Square Theater alongside Cinderella and Aurora.  Waits are shorter and FASTPASS is available.
  3. Magic Kingdom – She meets diners at Cinderella’s Royal Table.
  4. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2011 – Belle appeared with Beast in her gorgeous red gown in Fairytale Garden (where Rapunzel usually meets).

Aladdin and Jasmine – Classic Outfits

Priority: High
Location:
Aladdin and Jasmine meet along the World Showcase promenade across from the Morocco Pavilion.  If you’re walking from France, you’ll see them on the left after you pass most of the Morocco Pavilion.
Usual Meet Times:
  • 11:45am – 12:25pm
  • 12:45pm – 1:25pm
  • 1:45pm – 2:25pm
  • 3:45pm – 4:25pm
  • 4:45pm – 5:25pm
  • 5:45pm – 6:25pm
  • 6:45pm – 7:15pm
Barring any strange occurrences, Aladdin and Jasmine meet side by side throughout the day.
Process:
Like the Belle/Beast meet, the line runs along the World Showcase Lagoon in front of the characters. Simply get in line and wait your turn.
Interaction: Above average. For one reason or another, these aren’t the two friendliest or most engaging characters in Walt Disney World (generally speaking). But they are happy to see you, sign autographs, chat, and mingle with guests.
Wait Times: Wait times are usually 25 to 35 minutes in the afternoon, but can hit 45 minutes to an hour if you don’t meet them before they take one of their 20 minute breaks.
Best Times to Meet: Arriving by 11:35am for the 11:45am meet will reduce wait times as much as possible. If that isn’t going to happen, try to arrive about ten minutes before they’re scheduled to appear. That way, you should be able to meet them during their next set and not have to wait for the full 20 minute break. Once most people see the (long) length of the line and the character attendant tells them that the characters won’t be reappearing for 10 or more minutes, they’ll plan to “head back later.” Once the characters are scheduled to come out in a couple of minutes, people are more likely to get in line. If you can’t do the 11:45am meet, try to do the 12:45pm one. Lines will be consistently long from then on as more and more people work their way up to Morocco.
Other Meet Locations:
  1. Magic Kingdom – Both characters meet in Adventureland at the Agrabah Bazaar in the same outfits. Their lines are usually much shorter there, making it a better place to meet them.
  2. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2011 – Aladdin, Jasmine, Abu, and Genie met in the same location in pairs of two throughout the night.
  3. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2011 – Aladdin, Jasmine, Abu, and Genie met in the same location in pairs of two throughout the night. Aladdin appears in his “Prince Ali” outfit and Genie/Abu wore scarfs.

Alice – Blue Dress

Priority: Moderate
Location:
Alice Meets in this area across from Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the United Kingdom Pavilion.
From the other direction. She can also meet guests in the circled area opposite Mary Poppins depending on crowds and wait times.
Usual Meet Times:
  • 12:30pm – 1:10pm
  • 1:25pm – 2pm
  • 2:20pm – 3:0pm
  • 3:30pm – 4:10pm
  • 4:20pm – 4:50pm
Process: Alice’s line should continue out in front of her along the railing on the way to the France Pavilion. Line up and wait your turn.
Interaction: Great. Alice will chat you up and sign her autograph.
Wait times: Waits are generally 15 to 20 minutes in the afternoon, but may be shorter if the overall crowd level is lower or it’s earlier in the afternoon.
Best Times to Meet: Arriving by 12:25pm for the 12:30pm meet is best. Your total wait should be around ten minutes. Otherwise, arriving at 4:40pm for the 4:45pm meet is best. The 35 minute break from 4:10pm to 4:45pm will scare most people off and a lot of people will be further up into World Showcase by this time. Wait times are pretty consistent from 1:30pm to 4:10pm because it’s an obvious Meet and Greet with a decently popular character.
Other Meet Locations:
  1. Magic Kingdom – Alice meets with White Rabbit in Fantasyland in front of Mad Tea Party in the same outfit. Waits are usually similar.
  2. Grand Floridian Resort – She meets diners at the 1900 Park Fare Breakfast Buffet.
  3. Grand Floridian Resort – She meets guests at the Wonderland Tea Party (expensive).
