Hong Kong – Zhuhai – Macao Bridge consists of Two sections, namely, Hong Kong – Zhuhai – Macao Bridge Zhujiang Section, Hong Kong – Zhuhai – Macao Bridge Hong Kong Section. This bridge is connected to the inland highway of Hongkong by the North Lantau Higway Connection. In addition, it locates the main counties in Zhuhai Area and Hongkong, and the tourist routes.
The Hong Kong - Zhuhai - Macau Bridge is a series of bridges and tunnels that will connect the west side of Hong Kong to Macau and the mainland Zhuhai, which are situated on the west side of the Pearl River Delta. The proposed 50 kilometers link is expected to cost US $ 10.7 billion. With its length, it would become one of the landmarks within this area.
The birdge formally began on 2009, and is due to be completed in 2016.
