Official Tokyo Disneyland hotel

Find A Tokyo Disneyland Hotel That's Perfect For Your Tokyo Disney Experience

"It costs how much?!"
My friend had just booked a one night stay at one of the resort hotels at Tokyo Disneyland. It was a special celebration to mark his fifth wedding anniversary. And it was something he'd saved hard for because it was something his wife had long dreamed of doing.
Well, I say more power to him for being such a lovely husband. But... if you're looking for a Tokyo Disneyland Hotel that's close enough to all the action without the price tag of the Tokyo Disney Resort hotels, you'll be glad to know there are other options. Starting with the official six.

Your Tokyo Disneyland Hotel: Check out the official six

There are 6 official Disney hotels that are all within a stones throw of the park. Because they're not inside the ground they don't cost as much, but you are still eligible for many of the same benefits as guests staying at the resort hotels. Then there's the added bonus that, because they're just a little bit removed from the park itself, it's easy to escape if you need to take a break from all the action.
Want to know more? Here they are:

Now you know which hotels make up the official six, it's time to look at the extra benefits that come with staying at one of these hotels.

Official Tokyo Disneyland hotel benefits

There are a number of benefits that tip the balance in favour of staying at an official Tokyo Disneyland hotel. Not least is the fact that you're never far away from the free shuttle bus or the Disney monorail making it easy to get around. But there's more than ease of access that makes these hotels a good choice. Take a look and see what you think.
  1. Buying your Disney tickets: As an official hotel guest, you can buy both Disneyland and Disneysea tickets direct from your hotel. If you've purchased your tickets from a travel agent before arriving in Japan and need to exchange the voucher they'll have given you for the actual tickets, this can also be done at the hotel.
  2. Guaranteed park admission: As a guest at an official Tokyo Disneyland hotel, you're guaranteed entrance to the park even on peak days and when the park is operating on restricted entry. It's a busy place so knowing you don't need to worry about whether you'll be able to get in is a big relief... especially if you're traveling with young children who'll never forgive you if you get turned away!
  3. Cirque du Soleil: This famous circus has it's permanent Tokyo home right next to Disneyland so it's easy to include this on your Tokyo Disney itinerary. As an official hotel guest you're entitled to purchase a "Resort Stay Plus" package. A ticket that would normally cost you ¥9,500 (approx. US$120) will only cost you ¥5,900 (approx. US$74). See our Cirque du Soleil page for more information about the show.
  4. Baggage delivery service: If you're arriving at Disneyland by train you can use the baggage delivery service at the station to get your bags to the hotel. Why would you bother? You wont need to hang around waiting for check-in, but instead can get straight on with finding your favourite rides in the park.
  5. Easy access to Tokyo: Because of the location of the official Disney hotels, taking a trip into Tokyo city centre is a quick and easy affair.
So there you have it. Hopefully this information will help you make the decision of whether or not to stay in an official Tokyo Disneyland hotel. And if you're wondering if there are any budget options available for a stay at Tokyo Disney, take a look at our budget hotels near Disneyland.
