The 3 Official Disney Resort Hotels

1. Tokyo Disneysea Hotel Miracosta

The Miracosta Hotel is located inside the Disneysea half of the Tokyo Disney Resort, which makes it a good place to stay if you want to get a jump start on getting on the rides here. The hotel has a luxury spa and three restaurants, and it's easy to connect to the monorail to get to Tokyo Disneyland just across the way. If you're planning on spending more time in Disneysea, then this is the best resort hotel for you. 2. Tokyo Disneyland Hotel

The Tokyo Disneyland Hotel is, as the name suggests, set within the grounds of the Disneyland half of this resort. There is a good connection to all areas of the park, including Disneysea on the monorail. Within the hotel grounds there are four themed gardens, including an Alice in Wonderland garden, as well as a Peter Pan pool area designed just for the kids. 3. Disney Ambassador Hotel

The final official Tokyo Disney Resort hotel is the Disney Ambassador Hotel. It's located inbetween Disneysea and Disneyland, near to the Ikspiari shopping mall. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus for guests so it's easy to get around all sections of the park, and there's also good access to the monorail service. The hotel offers a wedding service for anyone wanting to get married here. Now you know a little about the three Tokyo Disney Resort hotels, it's time to look at the extras that these hotels offer. You do pay more to stay in these locations, so what exactly do you get for your money?

Tokyo Disney Resort hotel benefits

Probably the biggest reason that people choose to stay at one of the hotels inside the Tokyo Disney Resort, is because of their proximity to all the associated rides and activities. If you're a Disney geek, these 3 hotels are where you stay if you want to get Disney with bells on : ) But there are other benefits you gain from staying in an official Tokyo Disney hote. Here are 5 of them:

1. Enter the parks 15 minutes earlier than everyone else. If you're a Disney geek you already know the value of this perk : )
2. See Cirque du Soleil and their magical performance of Zed which is right next door to Disneyland. Staying at one of these hotels means you can purchase an exclusive "Resort Stay Plus" package. For a ticket that would normally cost ¥9,500 (approx. US$120), you will pay ¥5,900 (approx. US$74) instead.
3. Buy a valid Park Passport and your entry to the resort is guaranteed even on peak or restricted admission days.
4. Lots of Disney specials in the hotels themselves. Think custom toiletries and other items you'll find in your room.
5. Buy original Disney products and souvenirs at your hotel. There's no need to hit the shops unless you want to.

And there you have it. All that's left to do is choose your Tokyo Disney Resort hotel and get your booking made. Do this as far in advance as you can. Especially at peak times of year such as Christmas, Halloween, and Valentines Day, accommodation can be fully booked 2 - 3 months ahead. Even hotels outside the park are soon booked up so competition for the hotels inside the grounds is fierce.
