- Shibuya
- Shibuya is one of the three main subcenters of Tokyo, along with Shinjuku and Ikebukuro. With many department stores and specialty shops, it is a fashion center comparable to Harajuku and Daikanyama. A bronze statue of the faithful dog Hachiko stands in front of Shibuya Station. The district is known as a hub of youth culture.
- Shinjuku
- Shinjuku is one of the three main subcenters of Tokyo, along with Shibuya and Ikebukuro. It is a commercial and business district symbolic of Japan, the shopping area around Shinjuku Station being the largest in the country. Nishi-Shinjuku, home to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, is sometimes called the new heart of Tokyo.
- Ikebukuro
- Ikebukuro is one of the three main subcenters of Tokyo, along with Shinjuku and Shibuya. It consists of a commercial district extending east to west, centering on department stores and specialty shops around Ikebukuro Station, and an entertainment district to the north. The area is also called Chinatown owing to its large Chinese population.

Guide to transferring at Shinagawa Station
- Shinagawa Station platform (Platform No. 2)
- From the platform, proceed left to the walkway connecting to JR Lines.

- Go up the walkway with the signboard "JR線のりかえ (Transfer to JR Lines).
- Walkway connecting to JR Lines
- This leads to the opposite platform, Platform No. 1.

- If you do not have a JR Line ticket, please buy one here.
- Ticket gates for transferring to JR Lines
- JR Lines are just beyond the green signboard indicating the ticket gates for transferring to JR Lines.
