Numerous TGV stations serve the Paris and Ile de France region. In Paris practically all the major stations do so. But three others circumvent this central "end of the line bottleneck" and lead directly to : - Charles de Gaulle Airport (Roissy) to the North East of Paris
- Marne-la-Vallée and Disneyland Paris directly East of Paris
- Massy-Palaiseau to the South of Paris
So, you can speed up your Paris travels avoiding the "big city" if need be and book your TGV (in USA and Canada, otherwise click on your country link above) directly to one of these suburban destinations
The TGV High Speed trains that link the North, West, South and East of France and other international destinations DIRECTLY use these three suburban stations to avoid going through Paris. Thus speeding up continent wide travel. For instance you can book a High Speed Train (in USA and Canada, otherwise click on your country link above) directly from Brussels to Geneva or Lille to Bordeaux... and not transit via Paris.
Below is a TGV map of the environs of Paris indicating these three TGV stations
To see the details of each of the three individual stations or the four Paris stations, click the links below or directly on the station's name on the map below :

Notice that you can also easily and quickly access Paris from this three TGV stations using the "RER" with is the Reseau Exprès Régional; the Express Regional Network. This network will whisk you around the Ile de France region quickly and efficiently
- RER A (red line on the above map) which runs east-west (Versailles, Disneyland)
- RER B (blue line on the above map) which runs north-south (Charles de Gaulle airport, Orly airport)
- RER C (yellow line on the above map) north-south and basically follows the Seine through Paris (Orly airport)
So, for business or leisure arrive at one of the outskirt TGV stations and know you can always head into Paris should you be so inclined
